Network Waitaki provides innovative energy solutions to our customers, as well as providing electrical construction and maintenance services across New Zealand. We are excited to offer the opportunity for a People & Safety Advisor to join our Network Waitaki family. This is a permanent role and we are open to looking at either part-time or full-time hours for the right person. This role will be working within the People and Safety team predominantly as a People & Capability Advisor but will also provide some cover for the health & safety side of the team while our Health & Safety Advisor is on parental leave. This role will allow you to utilise your talent for communicating with people, to maximise your ability to work within a busy and at times complex environment and add value with your attention to detail. You will be working within a small team supporting the GM People & Safety to execute the People and Safety strategies and initiatives for the business, a key part of this role will be working closely with all our people across the business either in the office or out in the field. The right person will bring: Previous experience working in an HR Advisory role or similar Experience in advising and supporting leaders across a range of HR and ER matters Some previous experience in Health & Safety would be handy but not essential You might have worked in a similar asset intensive utility or regulated industry You have working knowledge of NZ employment legislation and even better if you have understanding/experience of Health & Safety legislation.
