People & Performance Business Partner

Firth, a leader in the construction industry, is looking for a dedicated and experienced People and Performance Business Partner to join our team on a 12-month contract.

Key Responsibilities: Talent and Diversity: Support talent and inclusion and diversity (I&D) strategies and execute plans to enhance workforce diversity.
Performance Management: Assist managers with performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, calibration, and disciplinary actions.
Engagement Surveys: Support engagement survey activities, including administration and action planning.
Industrial Relations: Represent the BU in dealings with unions, employer organizations, and industrial courts.
Remuneration Management: Manage job analysis, evaluation, remuneration changes, and annual reviews.
Employee Relations: Provide advice, coaching, and direction on employment issues, applying HR policies and interpreting legislation. Manage day-to-day ER problems, disputes, and issues, including negotiations, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
Administrative Support: Maintain employee records, manage data flows in Workday, handle recruitment administration, and liaise with payroll services.
Qualifications: Experience in HR or a related field, with a focus on employee development and performance management.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusting relationships.
Empathy and a genuine passion for supporting others.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Understanding of HR best practices and legal requirements.
