One that strengthens the foundations of our organisation, empowering passionate Team Members to become purpose-led Woolworths Group advocates and attracting a new generation of talent to the group.What you'll doAs a trusted People Partner for our Palmerston North Distribution Centre, you will be responsible for enabling our leadership teams to deliver best in class team experiences, leveraging group people initiatives. You will be partnering with our DC leaders to deliver both strategic people and operational priorities.Key responsibilities:Coaching and building capability of leaders within the Distribution CentreProviding effective HR operational advice and support across our team member lifecycleFacilitating learning & development programs to help build leadership capability, and culture with the team.Working in agile as part of the Group People Team, participating and delivering on key work streamsDeveloping credibility with leaders to allow for coaching and delivering feedbackEngaging in effective stakeholder management to deliver outcomes for the business unit aligned to people strategyWhat you'll bringYou'll bring a curious mind and a passion for open and inclusive collaboration to a culture that thrives on amplifying people's impact together. You'll bring relevant industry experience ideally within a blue collar industry. You will have experience working across a diverse employee demographic and having some experience working for a unionised organisation. As an experienced partner and people practitioner, you will have sound legislation knowledge, the ability to build strong relationships and a can-do attitude. Proven experience in building leadership capability, leading initiatives to improve absenteeism, retention and productivity, and collective bargaining would be advantageous.
