About the role We have an awesome opportunity based in Henderson for a People and Culture Advisor. Reporting to the Senior P&C Partner, this role empowers you to play a key role in supporting our employees and enhancing our organizational culture. You will be responsible for a wide range of generalist HR activities and have a flexible working style that can adapt to varying workloads with the ability to manage competing priorities. Day in the life of the role:Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on various HR-related matters, including administration, coordination, employee relations, performance management, and basic disciplinary processes.Induction and onboarding of new employeesCoaching employees with a humanistic lens contributing to a high performing, safe, happy, and healthy workplace for all.Manage employee benefits administration and assist with payroll processing.Contribute to the development and implementation of P&C programs and initiatives to improve employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.What will you bring:Relevant tertiary qualification.Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of HR principles and best practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.Team oriented, results focused, pragmatic approach.What's in it for you:Medical and Life InsuranceKiwisaver matched up to 4%Opportunities for professional development and career advancementA supportive and inclusive work environmentAbout the companyTegel Foods Ltd is an iconic New Zealand brand with a long history of producing a wide variety of high-quality products delivered throughout New Zealand.
