The People Business partner reports to the Senior People Business Partner and is a crucial link to our integrated approach to the full employee experience, employer relations, organisation development and wellbeing. As an experienced HR professional, you will be expected to work collaboratively and you will influence, motivate, and act as a trusted advisor to the respective business units. Key responsibilities include: To Partner with the nominated Business Units and to support the Senior Business Partner to provide a full range of generalist operational services and support across the employee lifecycle. Foster key stakeholder relationships whilst being able to challenge the status quo by providing honest, well-informed advice in a way that engenders the trust of one's peers and leaders throughout the business. Provide expertise and experience to achieve exceptional performance across the full range of the people service delivery portfolio. Implement and maintain exceptional customer services by providing people support. This includes design, implementation, and maintenance of 'best practice' human resources systems and policies. Drive the embedding of the LPC values and behaviours through initiatives which enhance diversity and inclusion and support the employee experience. Deliver business improvement frameworks and techniques for developing ongoing productivity / efficiency gains.  Skills & Experience:  Previous experience in a people business partner role in a heavily unionised environment is advantageous. Holds a tertiary qualification in a relevant field. Proven experience and success in supporting change and driving a continuous improvement culture. The ability to collaborate with leaders at all levels, employees, unions and other key stakeholders to ensure the continued improvement in people performance. The ability to use sound People / HR expertise to generate, evaluate and act on strategic options and opportunities. Integrates qualitative and quantitative information to draw accurate conclusions. Expertise in the effective negotiation of Collective Employment Agreements using an interest-based approach to bargaining.
