They are New Zealand's Infrastructure and Industrial Services leaders. They do everything from pipeline inspection and repair to drainage maintenance, hydro excavation, liquid waste management, specialist industrial and marine services, ultra-high-pressure water-jetting, and more. Full project or contract management services are proudly delivered to their clients.To help paint the picture, they currently have 16 branches nationwide, have staff numbers to over 700 and a fleet of over 600 specialist vehicles. Their head office is based in Ellerslie.This successful business has a reputation for providing excellence in service, expertise, customised value, and importantly, a focus on safety. Their ever-growing client base reflects their delivery, integrity, and long-term customer focus. An exciting future is set, as this disruptive business is embarking on a journey to positively challenge the market and further invest in its people, relationships, operations, and infrastructure.This is a significant role that reports to the CEO; sits on the SLT team and has several direct reports. On a micro level there's the requirement of developing the team, and fortifying and enhancing what has been built is essential. On a macro level management of HR systems; organisation analysis & design; payroll, recruitment; people engagement; remuneration; talent management payroll and onboarding all fall under your watch. You will need to influence at the top level and roll up your sleeves delivering to the operational requirements alongside your team.You have proven success as a strong HR leader and manager with solid ER and remuneration framework experience. Having experience in a medium-sized, private organisation is essential and you'll easily draw on examples of initiating significant system and process improvements, team mentoring, and navigating politics in this business. This experience will enable you to hit the ground running in this role.You thrive when you're at the coalface, implementing your plans, and developing team culture and you understand and respect the people in business directly impacts business value and reputation. Professionally managing relationships with your leadership team, employees and external partners is your natural strength. Your strong commercial acumen and level head enable you to capably manage the success of your projects.
