We are now seeking a People and Culture Director to lead our People and Culture team at EIT.
The appointing salary for this role will be between $145,000.00 and $160,000.00, dependent on skills and experience.
The People and Culture Director is based at our Taradale campus in Napier, reporting to the Operations Lead and will be responsible for:
Providing strategic and operational values-based leadership to the EIT People and Culture team.Partnering with senior leaders to develop and inform the strategic direction of EIT with a focus on high quality people solutions that enable business success.Design, development, and delivery of consistent, high-quality, equity-minded, people and culture frameworks, policies, and standards.Expertise level advice and leadership on employment and industrial relations, maintaining partnership relationships and managing escalated matters to mitigate business risk.To be successful in this role you will have:
Significant experience in leading people and culture across all areas of human resources.Experience in leading and advocating the use of te reo, tikanga and matauranga Maori in the workplace.Extensive experience and capability in employment and industrial relations, including providing support for leaders and managing escalated matters.Demonstrated experience and capability in providing thought leadership through to delivery across equity and inclusion and organisational development.EIT, a business division of Te Pukenga, is a vibrant and progressive tertiary institute with campus locations in Tairawhiti (Gisborne), Hawkes Bay and Auckland with learning centres located throughout the region.
