The Role:
Starting in January 2025, this newly created part-time People and Culture Advisor's role sits within the leadership team and reports to the CEO. You will provide operational support, HR advice and expert solutions to stakeholders across the organisation. Committed to improving the health, safety and wellbeing of the team, and people in the community they assist, you will ideally have experience in the disability or health sector.
You will work with a passionate and dedicated team of people and be part of an organisation providing services that truly make a difference. You will also have the opportunity to challenge and develop yourself both personally and professionally.
Responsibilities: Collaboratively partner with the senior leadership teamProvide technical advice on all HR & ER related issuesProactively approach employee well-being initiativesDevelop and implement HR systems and processesConduct recruitment and onboarding of new team membersSkills and Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience as a senior HR Generalist AdvisorTertiary qualification (desirable)Proven experience providing strategic HR advice to senior leadersExcellent working knowledge of legislation in NZ; Employment Relations Act, Holidays Act etcOrganised, relatable, engaging, and empathetic natureProactive approach to continuous improvement of systems, policies, and practicesPrevious experience in the health/disability and/or social services field (an advantage)The Benefits: Part-time 20 hours per week, on siteRewarding careerAn organisation that reflects its values and culture, working in the disability sectorAutonomous role, working with a supportive leadership team that values inclusion, integrity, innovation & positivityHow To Apply:
