We are on the hunt for an engaging and driven People and Capability Manager to embrace our values of Whakapono (Inner belief in the Tuaropaki vision), Kia U (Commitment, diligence), Kia Manawanui (Courage, adaptability, strategic foresight and humility).The Role:Reporting to the CEO, the People and Capability Manager is responsible for designing and maintaining the people and capability roadmap, systems, policies and processes. This is a hands-on role that engages with the Trust's values and helps bring their visions, culture, and people pathways to life.Key Responsibilities:Design and deliver a people management roadmap introducing core policies, processes and systems - from sourcing to succession.Maintain connectedness to individual and team culture, engagement and performance.Maintain human resource and payroll policy, process and compliance requirements.Ensure interactions with kaimahi are credible, consistent and values based.Technical oversight of payroll instructions.Actively promote the Trust's values and interests.Collaborate to continuously improve achievement of the team's wider objectives.Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, effectively communicating technical information.Share technical expertise and best practices to enhance team skills and capabilities.What You'll Need to be Successful:Proven expertise in developing people management roadmaps and advising at a senior leadership or Board level.Relevant tertiary qualification in HR, organisational behaviour, or psychology.Extensive experience in change management and complex employee relations.Strong business acumen with a track record of aligning plans with organizational priorities and driving change.Demonstrated ability to make quality decisions, identify trends and risks, and solve problems.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a history of building relationships and collaborating across the industry.What You'll get in Return:The opportunity to lead change and enhance a great team culture within a highly respected organisation.Comprehensive medical insurance - Including prescriptions.If you are interested in this position, don't hesitate to apply as we will be reviewing applications as they come in.
