Are you passionate about Human Resources and Health & Safety? Our People and Capability team is dedicated to managing these crucial functions across our four sites: Mitre 10 Mega Tauranga, Mitre 10 Mega Rotorua, Mitre 10 Waihi, and our Waihi Frame & Truss. About the Role: This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities and exposure to various facets of HR and Health & Safety. Your key tasks will include:
Recruitment including, End-to-end, creating Position Descriptions and AdvertsOnboarding and inductionsCreating employment contracts and letters of variationMaintaining employee recordsCoordinating updates and changes with our payroll teamProducing reports and minutesSupporting the team to ensure best practices in all activitiesGeneral administration and filing dutiesThis is a full-time position (35 hours per week), based at our Tauranga site, with occasional travel to other sites (a company pool car is available for these trips). We have a strong emphasis on work-life balance. 9-day fortnights so you can reap the benefits with every second weekend a long weekend! (70 hours a fortnight)

About You: Our ideal candidate will have:
