About the Role:
This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities and exposure to various facets of HR and Health & Safety. Your key tasks will include:
Recruitment including, End-to-end, creating Position Descriptions and Adverts
Onboarding and inductions
Creating employment contracts and letters of variation
Maintaining employee records
Coordinating updates and changes with our payroll team
Producing reports and minutes
Supporting the team to ensure best practices in all activities
General administration and filing duties
This is a full-time position (35 hours per week), based at our Tauranga site, with occasional travel to other sites (a company pool car is available for these trips).
We have a strong emphasis on work-life balance. 9-day fortnights so you can reap the benefits with every second weekend a long weekend! (70 hours a fortnight)
About You:
Our ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in Human Resources or recruitment (ideally 1+ years) and/or Health & Safety, or a tertiary qualification in a related discipline
A people-focused approach in all interactions
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Strong computer and administrative skills
Ability to work well under pressure and handle interruptions
Excellent planning, coordination, and time management skills
A professional demeanor with a can-do attitude
Clean full New Zealand Driver Licence
