Our People and Culture team has an opening for a 12-month fixed term where you can step in and be part of driving innovation and change!What you'll be doingAs a People Advisor, you'll collaborate with a team of specialists, serving as the main point of contact for initial people-related inquiries. This dynamic role involves working in an agile team setting, providing comprehensive HR advisory support to our P&C team, RSE team, and People Managers.Based in our Whakatu office, your role will include:Service Delivery, including support with the annual salary review process, performance reviews, and engagement surveys, including running reports and action planning.Employee Relations, including managing low-risk employee relations cases end-to-end with support from Senior P&C team members.Managing employment-related documentation and data.Policies & Procedures, including the upkeep of P&C policies with employment laws.Supporting Health & Safety queries via various channels and assigning or actioning them accordingly.Supporting the RSE operations team with general administration requirements, such as processing and coordinating RSE employment, travel, and insurance documentation.You will bring:Previous experience (minimum 3 years) in a similar role within a medium to large-sized organisation.Confidence in managing the end-to-end HR process for a high-volume work environment.Ability to manage and influence stakeholders.Ability to develop and manage effective relationships at all levels and locations.Strong communication skills to influence, advise, and negotiate.Previous experience in employee relations, including disciplinaries.What's in it for you?Gain strong exposure and variety in a diverse and fast-paced environment.Meet and work with extraordinary experts in the field of horticulture and People & Culture.Opportunities to learn, grow, and impact change.Join a team where we all value honesty and encourage each other to perform at our best.An environment where we embrace diversity and unique ideas.Who we are?At Mr Apple, our team of experts prides themselves on apple perfection – to achieve this, we hire and grow a diverse workforce of people from all backgrounds, experiences and perspectives.
