As a People Advisor, you will be a key member of the People Operations team as the first point of call ensuring that all our colleagues and people leaders across the business have the HR support they need to be successful.

You'll be joining a highly engaged team in a role that gives you great breadth and learning across HR.
This is an Auckland based, fixed-term opportunity through to February 2025. It is a hybrid role with three days in the office, Tuesday and Thursday as anchor days plus either Friday or Monday.
We sat down with one of our Tima Leader's (who you'd report to), and they let us know the following about the role:
What are the day-to-day tasks the person will complete? Providing advice and support to colleagues and people leaders on HR policy and process queries via our Tahi service portal and People Advisory phone line.Generating employment offers for new joiners and internal transfers, ensuring compliance with various legislation requirements.Supporting and guiding people leaders through sometimes complex Employment Relations processes.Ensuring our Tahi knowledge is up to date and gives people the information they need.Identifying and implementing changes to simplify our processes to improve the colleague experience.What is the team culture and environment like? We are a close knit, supportive team who work together to get great outcomes for our colleagues (our customers).
What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity? The breadth of learning you can expect across the full spectrum of HR.
What is the most challenging thing about this opportunity? No day is ever the same! There is a huge amount of variety in this role which also means that we need to prioritise our work carefully and our priorities change frequently.
