About the role
Haringey Pension Fund is looking for the right candidate to join our team in delivering a comprehensive and efficient pensions administration service.
As a Pensions Officer, you will be expected to carry out the end-to-end pensions administration for Haringey Pension Fund LGPS members in a timely manner and to effectively operate in a customer-focused service, dealing with all types of pension administration enquiries including correspondence, telephone and in person, giving appropriate guidance or assistance.
You will be responsible for administering the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) by processing case work, responding to member queries via phone/email/face to face, and delivering an excellent service to our members.
About you
We are looking for someone with a strong pensions administration background (preferably in an LGPS fund) who has good attention to detail with tenacity and drive to complete a task.
A Team Player able to work openly and cooperatively with colleagues, but also able to operate under own initiative and manage your time effectively, working to deadlines.
Someone who delivers and values a high level of customer service to provide the best member experience with a professional phone manner and excellent written communication skills.
You will have good IT skills and be comfortable using the Microsoft Office package, particularly proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as experience using a pensions administration program and/or payroll.
