Peer Support Worker Permanent, Full-time – 40 hours per weekService operates Monday to Friday.
General operating hours are between 8am to 5pmServices is based out of our Otahuhu Hub(while the real work happens in the community)Pay Band: $25.00ph - $30.00ph(Service falls under Pay Equity.

The English translation for Mahi Marumaru is 'many people working together'.
All Peer Support Workers have their own lived experience of addiction and personal journey of recovery.
Anyone aged 18-65 living in the Counties Manukau District Health Board area is eligible for this service.
We prefer self-referrals but will accept introductions from clinicians, other services, and family.
Role | Nga mahi Peer support is a challenging role, which requires tenacity, resilience and a sense of humour.
It is also a rewarding role where you can use your own experience of addictions to make a difference in the lives of others.
As a role model and peer, you will be inspiring hope through sharing your own story of recovery with those who are looking at moving towards different choices and options in their lives.
The role of Peer Support Worker will require you to build a relationship with others based on shared experience of recovery from AOD.
The relationship fosters mutual learning and growth and is strongly focused on supporting people to make positive changes in their lives.
