The ideal candidate will play a key role in optimizing PCB production processes, improving quality, increasing efficiency, and ensuring product reliability. You will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing process from prototyping through full-scale production and will work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, quality control, and production.Key Responsibilities:Process Development & Improvement: Develop, implement, and optimize PCB manufacturing processes (e.g., drilling, lamination, etching, soldering, testing). Continuously improve processes to increase efficiency, yield, and reduce defects.Process Optimization & Troubleshooting: Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement in PCB production. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to equipment, materials, and processes to minimize downtime and defects.Quality Control: Ensure that all PCB products meet internal quality standards and customer specifications. Work with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to investigate and resolve quality issues, performing root cause analysis and corrective actions when necessary.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed process documentation, work instructions, and process flow diagrams. Provide regular updates and reports on process performance, yield rates, and productivity improvements.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, operations, and supply chain, to ensure the successful transition from prototype to full-scale production. Offer technical support to other departments as required.Equipment & Materials Selection: Evaluate and recommend materials, tools, and equipment to enhance manufacturing capabilities. Support the procurement process for new machinery or technology upgrades.Compliance & Safety: Ensure that manufacturing processes comply with industry standards, environmental regulations, and safety requirements. Promote a culture of safety within the manufacturing environment.Required Qualifications:Proven experience in PCB manufacturing and/or electronic assembly processes (e.g., SMT, through-hole, lamination, drilling, etching, and testing).Strong knowledge of PCB design principles, PCB materials, and manufacturing techniques.Experience in a contract manufacturing environment.Proficiency in data analysis and statistical process control (SPC).Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to PCB manufacturing.Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment and independently and be effective in a fast-paced environment.Education:Bachelor's Degree in EngineeringBenefits:Our client offers generous benefits!*Please Note: Critical functions of this job are defined above.
