The role will provide insightful analytics & reporting and through embedding a culture of continuous improvement develop and implement efficient process and systems.This is a key role in the transformation of the payroll function as we go through a period of substantial change. The role will need to find efficiencies and streamline the payroll function, whilst ensuring a high-quality payroll service is delivered to the business and amidst substantial change. Experience in Payroll, Payroll Systems and Transformational change would be a key advantage.Develop streamlined processes and look for opportunities to standardise the management and processing of payroll data.As a key stakeholder you will work with relevant business units and functions regarding the end-to-end payroll compliance from Award, Enterprise Agreements, Time and Attendance, Finance Journals, Audit, Reporting.What you'll doLeading the day-to-day operational delivery of an end to end payroll service including pay runs, periodic & year end reportingProvides leadership on Payroll Process and Systems "Stand-alone" planning and execution.Streamline and maintain payroll processes and systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including wages, superannuation, leave, incentives, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.Maintain Team Global Express's compliance with federal, state and tax legislation; and build Team Global Express's knowledge of existing and new legislation and assure compliance with all relevant legislation.Establish and support a suite of periodic, insightful payroll dashboards including KPIs.Building team capability, driving high performance and coaching team members in achieving high quality service outcomesResolution of escalated payroll issues working with key stakeholders to find sustainable solutions which meet the needs of the business.Be a change champion, leveraging technology, tools and best practice, seeking continuous improvement and implementation of best practices. This may include periodic system upgrades and oversee adoption of new functionality including the ongoing review of business processes and training materials.Work across key business and functional areas to ensure payroll inputs and outputs are managed appropriately and develop strong working relationships with key stakeholdersFacilitate and manage internal, external and third-party relationshipsWhat you'll bringEnd to end monthly and weekly payroll experience for 8000+ employeesProven experience within payroll projects is desirableExcellent knowledge of payroll complexities, superannuation, leave, taxation, enterprise agreements and related accounting rulesStrong communication skills with the ability to convey complex payroll issues across a broad stakeholder groupAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while being able to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience in the management of high-quality Payroll / HR ServiceTechnical expertise with Preceda/Workday/Kronos is highly desirableTechnical expertise with Workday/Kronos is preferredCritical thinker who can foresee potential obstacles, develop viable options and gain agreement across the key stakeholdersStrong relationship skills to foster a culture of continuous improvement the business, HR and vendorsExperience with acquisitions/divestments payroll integrationAn inclusive workplace, works for everyone We celebrate difference.
