What will your typical week look like?
Manage the expectations of relevant stakeholders around the completion of these tasks and develop the technical knowledge within the Payroll Team to ensure internal and client service standards are met.
Backup and technical support to the Payroll Manager, including covering pays, processing taxation, KiwiSaver, and relevant pay run reports or reconciliations.
Assist with the end-to-end processing of payroll, including PAYE obligations and filing the returns.
Manage payroll-related queries, internal and external reporting, and engage with the wider business.
Be involved in various projects and payroll-related work that arise from time to time.
What you need to be successful: Outgoing personality, willingness to work hard and have fun along the way.
Desire to continuously develop yourself.
Be highly customer-focused; you will want to own the client relationship.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of the wider team.
Capability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and deadline-driven environment.
Strong time management skills with a focus on accuracy.
Previous payroll experience.
Experience using payroll systems is preferable, but not necessary.
Computer literacy across a range of Microsoft products, particularly Excel.
