Working at Health New Zealand Te Whatu Ora Lakes provides a great opportunity to balance an amazing lifestyle with a rewarding professional experience.As well as a supportive, inclusive and diverse work environment, Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Lakes offers competitive salary, free staff parking, free flu vaccination, discounts with local businesses, and access to Employee Assistance Program.About YouMinimum of 3 years experience in a Payroll roleKnowledge of payroll-related legislation, employment agreements, their interpretation, and applicationExperience with computerised payroll systems and processes; high level of computer literacy skills (including advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Outlook along with data entry skills)Proven ability to cope under pressure with a high volume of workHigh degree of numeracy skills and time data calculations with accuracy and attention to detailAbility to set own priorities and meet deadlines without the need for constant supervisionGood analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skillsAbility to maintain a high level of confidentialityExcellent written and verbal communication skills together with the ability to manage queries from customers in a professional and efficient manner.Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growthExperience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.Salary RangeBand 4 Step 1 of the PSA Administration and Clerical pay scaleWorking for Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellness'.
