Due to our continuous growth and expansion, Bargain Chemist Head Office is seeking a proactive individual who can get things done!We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join our growing business.We are looking for someone to perform our end-to-end weekly payroll for 450+ employees, as well as answering any payroll related queries, ongoing employee maintenance, updating employee files.The main part of your role is ensuring successful weekly payroll processing for over 450 employees, queries and employee maintenance.This role requires resilience and a proactive attitude, as it can be very busy, especially as we continue to grow the business, this role will grow as well.This is a full-time role Monday to Friday based in our Burnside located Head office.Scope of the roleincludes but is not limited to:Full end to end process of weekly pays.Employee maintenance including but not limited to entering of new employees, terminations, and updating of employee's records.Onboarding new employees successfully to our MYOB advanced payroll and MYOB WFM systems.Daily and weekly maintenance of employee leave and rosters.Answering and sorting employee payroll queries and completing any troubleshooting required as necessary.Ensure compliance with New Employment law and Payroll legislation.Requirements for the role:Previous experience in end-to-end processing of a SME business weekly payroll (preferably 4 years payroll experience) preferably 450 + employees (Essential)Knowledge of MYOB Advanced and WFM is an advantage.Strong Excel and Microsoft suite knowledge.A strong understanding of New Payroll legislation.Ability to be accurate.Ability to work autonomously and independently as well as a part of a team.Be able to work well under pressure to meet the weekly deadlines.A pleasant calm manner.Strong attention to detail.Methodical and organized.All applicants must have a legal right to work in New Zealand - No sponsorship is available for this role.Please apply with a copy of your current CV and a cover letter outlining relevant experience and knowledge.You must provide two work related references.Please note only short-listed applicants will be contacted.
