Payroll and Rostering System Administrator, People & Development 1.0 FTE at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Tairawhiti, Gisborne Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity If payroll is your passion and you love to be challenged then come and join our payroll team. The payroll and rostering administrator is an important role within our People & Development team; providing a comprehensive payroll service to Te Whatu Ora Tairawhiti. Rest assured you will always have challenges and new learning opportunities.
Ideally, you'll have a strong knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation and the Holidays Act, and also possess the ability to use your initiative and self-manage when required. As part of the role scope, you'll be responsible for running payroll reports, data maintenance and running the pay all within a fortnightly deadline.
To succeed in this role you will ideally have:
2 years + experience in a payroll role
Strong knowledge of payroll specific employment legislation and the Holidays Act.
Payroll system savvy
High level of attention to detail and accuracy in your work
Great communication and relationship skills
An ability to work autonomously but still love being part of a team
