Lee Building Maintenance 2011 Ltd – Manawatu County
Lee Builders is the largest locally owned construction company operating in the Manawatu, with 75+ staff we are proud to be supporting local.
We currently have a vacancy for a Payroll / Accounts Administrator to join our office team. This role will be part time, approx 20 hours per week, and we are happy to discuss flexibility about hours per week, which could suit school hours. We are flexible with the start date, commencing early 2025.
The Payroll & Accounts Administrator is responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time for all employees. This role involves maintaining payroll records, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and addressing employee inquiries related to payroll.
Responsibilities: Assist with the completion of mandatory IRD requirements related to payroll
Maintain accurate payroll records and employee information
Tax Filing - filing GST returns and making monthly payments to IRD
Project invoices and retentions
Support Finance Team where required (e.g., bank reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable)
Requirements: Proven experience in payroll processing and accounting functions
Professional demeanor with the ability to work well under pressure
Organized with good time management skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
Simpro knowledge is desirable
