In this role, you will ultimately be responsible for effectively managing the safety, quality, efficiency and financial success of the Asphalt Paving Department.In addition to the above you will:Effectively manage client relationships to ensure continued successBe responsible for preparation of estimates and tenderingOversee daily operational activities including resourcing, programming of works, contractual operations and obligationsManage financial performance, reporting, ensuring optimisation of financial outcomesEvaluate performance and foster a culture of continuous improvementManage the training and development of staff while fostering a collaborative and cohesive team environmentWith the right attitude and a willingness to learn, this role can provide optimal opportunity for growth and professional development.To be successful in this role, you will have:Proven experience in managing multiple asphalt paving projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes and efficient use of resourcesExtensive knowledge of asphalt products and paving methodologiesKnowledge of relevant legislation, standards and proceduresA focus on safety and complianceThe ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workDemonstrated leadership capability with a strong focus on people, safety and qualityProblem solving abilitiesYou will be a supportive and collaborative leader with a passion for developing and growing talent.
