The Opportunity We are looking for a highly motivated Pavement Construction Project Manager to join our Hamilton contracting team.
Our upcoming projects will bring a variety of opportunities with a major task of delivering programmed works for our major clients across the region and providing and maintaining safe reliable assets to our communities.
Reporting to the Construction Divisional Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day operations for our highly skilled internal crews as well as sub-contractors by working with the engineers and department managers in the team.
In addition to the above you will: Provide leadership and manage the day-to-day requirements for the department.
Lead, manage and enhance safe systems, processes and culture in relation to Health & Safety.
Forward works programming.
Monthly P&L.
Stakeholder Management.
Staff management / engagement.
Routine interfacing & updating the client.
To be successful in this role, you will: Have relevant tertiary education (preferred).
Have extensive experience in the civil construction sector.
Have significant project experience in roading & pavement crew management.
Possess strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage great relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Exhibit excellent leadership, performance management and mentorship qualities.
Have strong financial controls experience.
Demonstrate exceptional organisational skills.
Have a detailed understanding of quality, safety and environmental procedures.
Lead from the front in fostering the culture around the Fulton Hogan REAL values.
You will be a supportive and collaborative leader with a passion for developing and growing talent.
