Service: Clinical Records, Non-Clinical Support and Delivery
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Salary: $74,090 to $81,864
This is a specialist role responding to requests for patient information from a wide range of customers including patients, families, government and non-government agencies.
This is a very process-driven role with specific deliverables and outcomes, in a complex and challenging environment.
Because of this, you will need to have a high level of attention to detail, empathy, and time management.
Knowledge of the Privacy Act 2020 and Official Information Act 1982 would be of significant advantage.
Our Patient Information Officers are a small team of highly skilled, competent, and organized professionals who place a high value on collaboration and teamwork.
They are supported by, and work closely with, the wider Clinical Records Team and as such provide support as required.

You will be able to demonstrate the following skills:

High level of English comprehension with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working in a complex, fast-paced environment
Knowledge of applicable legislation e.g.
Official Information Act 1982 and Privacy Act 2020 with previous practical experience an advantage
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, highly desirable
Flexible - able to work as part of a team or alone if required
