Salary: Between $80,026 and $84,491 per annum depending on experience

About the Role This role will lead the Patient Enquiries/Interpreter services to provide confidential advice, support, and information on health service-related matters, acting as a point of contact for patients' families/whanau and carers, to support the coordination of Interpreter coordinators.

Responsibilities Coordinate and facilitate appropriate information release to patients, ACC, police, and external agencies within the Privacy Code and other relevant legislation. Ensure recruitment and training expenditure stays within budget. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure all day-to-day management and administration requirements are undertaken in a timely and effective manner. Deal with requests for information from patients, the police, and other agencies. Ensure all policies and procedures are being followed. About You Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in administration, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail. You must be comfortable interacting with a variety of people at all levels and managing multiple issues simultaneously.

Ideally, you will also bring the following skills and experience:

Three or more years of previous experience in a busy administrator role. A certificate in Business Administration level 4 or equivalent. Experience working in a multicultural work environment. Experience managing resources, including people and finances. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Well organized, with good attention to detail. Ability to motivate staff to deliver and meet organizational goals. Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth. Experience in projects/initiatives that give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, particularly in healthcare settings. Salary Range This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the PSA South Island Clerical Multi-Employer Collective Agreement, and the salary will be in accordance with the National Health Administration Workers Pay Scale, Band 7 between $80,026 and $84,491 p.a. depending on relevant experience.
