Pathways Strength and Conditioning CoachHawke's Bay Rugby is looking for an energetic and engaging Rugby Pathways Strength and Conditioning Coach.The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the long-term athletic development of our community rugby, Academy, and Women's High-Performance Players.
The Pathways Strength and Conditioning Coach will develop periodised and integrated strength and conditioning plans for these players and lead the delivery of physical performance training and monitoring.
Applicants with experience in Strength and Conditioning for rugby union players is preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesIn consultation with the Head of Performance and Coaches, plan periodized programmes for Academy and Women's High-Performance players.Responsible for delivering, managing, and monitoring field and gym training sessions.Complete physical testing battery as directed by New Zealand Rugby for Women's High-Performance and Academy players.Assist in planning and attend pre-season training camps as required.Liase with Head of Performance and Medical staff on rehabilitation programmes for injured players as required.Attend training and matches to deliver warm-up and conditioning as required.Deliver strength and conditioning coaching for Hawke's Bay Clubs and Schools (1st XV'S) to increase exposure to athletic development.Assist on key Hawke's Bay Rugby community rugby strategic projects involving schools and/or club teams.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?
