Warehousing, Storage & Distribution (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)As Parts Warehouse Supervisor – Christchurch, you will manage the day-to-day operations of our Christchurch Parts Warehouse. You will lead, mentor, and motivate your staff to meet and exceed warehouse KPI's, as well as promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement. You will be directly responsible for all orders received before cut-off dispatched, in full and without damage, as well as all incoming shipments receipted in and put away same day. You will also be responsible for helping to maintain a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity. To be a successful candidate for this role you be an energetic, driven individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.The work address for this role is: 15 Pilkington Way, Christchurch, CAN 8042Annual compensation for the role is between $80,000 - $90,000 NZDThis is a permanent full-time role, with ordinary hours of work being 38 hours per week plus such reasonable additional hours that are necessary to perform essential duties.ResponsibilitiesDetermining, implementing and monitoring purchasing, storage and distribution strategies, policies and plans for Tesla New Zealand partsPreparing and implementing plans to maintain required stock levels at minimum costNegotiating contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost and delivery requirementsMonitoring and reviewing storage and inventory systems to meet supply requirements and control stock levelsOperating recording systems to track all movements of supplies and finished goods, and ensuring re-ordering and re-stockingLiaising with other departments and Australia locations and customers concerning requirements for outward goods and associated forwarding transportationOverseeing the recording of purchase, storage and distribution transactionsDirecting staff activities and monitoring their performanceProvision of products and services to meet customer or client requirementsMaintain a safe and productive work environmentContribute to all warehouse KPI targets being metEnsure timely and safe dispatching of goodsEnsure timely and safe receipt and put away of goodsMaintain a high level of inventory accuracy and integrityLead, mentor, and train warehouse staffPromote a culture of continuous improvement and developmentManage all daily warehouse functions, as well as forecast and plan for future operational requirementsAnalyse and report on operational dataProactively manage labour levels to suit work requirementsReport accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditionsReport any equipment damages or repairs neededRequirementsEssential: Previous experience working in operations teams in a Warehouse environment (1+ years experience)Essential: Must demonstrate strong understanding of warehouse functions, processes, and systemsDegree educated preferredOpen-minded, collaborative and team-oriented attitude with the ability to think outside the box for solutions to complex challengesLicensed and skilled in LF/LO operations preferredSelf-motivation, strong work ethic, and a passion for being hands-on in their workYour application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?How many years' experience do you have as a warehouse supervisor?Which of the following Microsoft Office products are you experienced with?
