Currently, we are looking for an experienced Parts Manager to join our supportive team and help keep our operations running smoothly.The standard work hours for this role are 7.00 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday (45 hours per week).What you'll be doingAs Parts Manager, you'll keep the parts department running smoothly, making sure parts are ordered on time and inventory is managed efficiently. You'll work closely with suppliers to get the parts needed for both the workshop and our customers, while always delivering top-notch customer service.You'll support the workshop team, ensure parts are correctly entered onto jobs, and manage phone inquiries with a professional, friendly approach. This role will also have you promoting external customer work, ensuring safety standards are met, and complying with transport regulations. You'll take the lead in identifying ways to improve the process.What we're looking forPrevious experience in managing parts, preferably in the automotive or mechanical industryStrong organisational skills with attention to detail, especially in inventory managementExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalCustomer-focused attitude with the ability to build strong relationshipsProficient with Microsoft Excel and basic word processingAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environmentA good standard of physical fitnessKnowledge of transport regulations and health and safety requirementsProactive problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindsetA clean Class 1 driver's license (at least)What we offerJoin a supportive, locally owned business that values its team and gives you the chance to thrive in a role that matters.
