Job Description About the Role: We're a trusted family business, and we're looking for a Parts Interpreter to join our awesome team in Gore.
Under the general direction of the Parts Manager, this role involves assisting with customer-related inquiries, workshop, and internal parts questions, along with handling warehousing duties.
You'll occasionally visit customers to build relationships and better understand their needs, making this position a great mix of behind-the-scenes work and face-to-face interactions.
What You'll Do: Help customers find the right parts for construction machinery and processing equipment.
Give accurate and quick quotes for parts and accessories.
Handle orders and keep inventory in check.
Work with suppliers and our team to get parts delivered on time.
Stay up-to-date with our product lines and specs.
What We're Looking For: Having a background in parts and inventory control is preferred for this role, especially if you've got experience in the mechanical or heavy equipment industry.
You'll need to be familiar with goods inward and outward operations and have proficiency in stock control and ordering systems.
Intermediate computer skills are required, and while forklift operation skills are desirable, training will be provided if necessary.
Most importantly we are after someone with 'get up and go' who is proactive and eager to learn.
