Working at one of NZs most dynamic and fast growing retailersAmazing team and work cultureFull time office based role We have two amazing roles for experienced Partnerships Managers and/or Event & PR Managers to join the established marketing team of one of NZ's most dynamic and leading retailers. The Partnerships Manager will spearhead the development of new partnerships with some of the most prominent NZ sporting organisations, expos, activations, and brands in NZ.
The Partnerships Manager will manage the day-to-day implementation of a portfolio of sponsorships and events with the support of a Partnerships & Events Lead and a direct report, a Partnerships & Events Specialist. This includes planning, budgeting, and management of all activities. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the delivery teams, ensuring robust project management processes to deliver the highest quality events, activations, and expos.
The successful applicants will be highly driven to deliver solutions that are in-line with and support our partnerships and create synergies with all marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in sports, events, and activations and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. It goes without saying that you will be a natural people person who loves engaging with partners and all company stakeholders.

Given the nature of the role, there will be an expectation to work some late nights and occasional weekends to deliver projects. Key Responsibilities: Manage the planning and implementation of marketing partnerships, expos, and events.Good understanding of large-scale event delivery processes (including production, marketing, sales, and operations).Build and maintain excellent working relationships with all partners, stores, and internal and external stakeholders.Work closely with the digital, social, and media teams to implement events and activations and deliver successful campaigns.Ensure all project expenditure is managed effectively, reconciling budgets and tracking quotes and invoices.Develop operational guidelines specific to the projects and events.Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and identify areas for business growth. Skills & Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years of account, team, and project management experience working within sponsorships, partnerships, or events agency environments - delivering solutions for clients and partners.A committed team player with the ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects at one time.Self-motivated, enthusiastic, extremely well organised and able to think on your feet to solve problems.Exceptional relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to confidently engage with all stakeholders at all levels.Ability to motivate and energise the teams around you around successful project delivery.Excellent negotiation and project management skills with a results-driven attitude.Exceptional written and verbal English skills and presentation skills.
