Scope of Assignment
As part of Dynasty Sport's highly collaborative and passionate in-house marketing team, this role is an opportunity to continue to build on the positive momentum we've got as a brand.
Reporting to the GM Marketing Communications and working with relevant internal and external stakeholders, you will contribute towards developing and executing Dynasty Sport's overall marketing strategy across a range of objectives and channels.
This role is a great combination of Partnership Manager and Marketing Manager roles. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your outstanding account management skills with some of NZ & AU's biggest sporting brands, while also thinking strategically and creatively on how to leverage these partnerships and other channels effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Manage key pro team partner relationships ensuring they are being serviced to a high standard and delivering positive outcomes for all parties.
Collaboratively develop and execute Dynasty Sport's Teamwear marketing strategy, working with relevant stakeholders to do so.
Positively contribute to the overall health of the Dynasty Sport brand through any work being undertaken.
Be responsible for Dynasty Sport's direct comms channels across key business objectives, with the ability to produce engaging written comms.
Work closely with Dynasty Sport's Content Marketing Manager, Graphic Designer and E-Commerce and Digital Marketing Manager to develop and execute marketing campaigns and content through all relevant channels.
Successfully lead key projects and campaigns from concept through to delivery, working alongside your colleagues to conduct creative concepting, content capture, logistics, professional player engagement, campaign delivery, analysis, optimisation, reporting and budget management.
Stay on top of current and emerging marketing trends and suggest opportunities to utilize these to deliver great brand experience for our customers.
Assist with requirements around Live Event activations including in-stadia activations and industry event expos.
Assist with execution of the e-commerce growth strategy across Dynasty Sport's digital channels to maximise the sales of pro team partner apparel through our online platforms.
Work collaboratively with the E-Commerce and Digital Marketing Manager to deliver on our E-Commerce requirements.
Skills & Experience Required
Tertiary Marketing qualification desirable, with a minimum of five years' Partnerships/Sponsorship/Marketing experience.
Proven success in delivering business objectives through mutually beneficial partnership or sponsorship marketing.
Ability to autonomously manage multiple partners/stakeholders to a high standard.
Experience in digital marketing campaign execution with an understanding of digital and social trends and how to apply them to deliver results.
Ability to report and deliver actionable insights on marketing strategies.
Experience with CRM and/or direct communications and the ability to write engaging brand communications.
All the "hygiene" skills expected for a role like this: organisation, time management, attention to detail, stakeholder management, interpersonal skills, written and verbal comm skills, can-do attitude, personal responsibility and accountability.
Experience in the sports industry is highly advantageous; a passion for sport is a non-negotiable.
Experience in the apparel/retail industry is beneficial.
Experience in e-commerce is desirable.
This is a full-time, permanent position located at Dynasty Sport's Auckland offices in Albany. Flexible working options are available to suit the right candidate's needs.
