Working with Partners is a team effort that will require influence and coordination with many stakeholders; you will have ownership of the technical relationship with partners, making recommendations on partner solutions that best fit customer requirements for security, cost, performance, reliability, operational efficiency and best-practice architectures.Key job responsibilitiesServe as a key technical member of the Solutions Architecture team in helping to enable partners and ensure partner success in building partner practice, capabilities, and solutions on the AWS platformDesign customer solutions with partners using AWS servicesScope each partner engagement, with attention towards clear and well-defined objectives and success criteriaOwn each technical enablement and engagement, and help ensure a timely and successful delivery of value (delivery of actual solutions to be done by AWS partners)Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the solution architect communityEvangelize AWS services to share best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, white papers and reference architectures, as well as public-speaking events such as AWS Summits, AWS re:Invent etc.Understand the AWS market segments, customer base, and industry verticalsCoach and enable partners on an ongoing basis to adopt AWS innovationsAssist partners in pursuits and enable them to win the business independentlyBASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 5+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience- 8+ years of the software or Internet industries experience- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.- Experience in communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clientsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud- Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspectiveAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
