What You'll Do
As a Partner Sales Director, you will work with business partners in Japan and Australia & New Zealand to grow our sales pipeline and close deals. You will:
Collaborate with partners (like Global System Integrators, ISVs, Cloud Service Providers, and resellers) and our analytics team.
Oversee deals using Teradata and partner resources.
Generate demand for our multi-cloud data platform.
Plan training and certification for partners to support our analytics solutions.
Aim for revenue growth in the region by working with partners.
Who You'll Work With
You will be a thought leader, managing multiple relationships across the organization and partner teams. You will work with:
Sales engineers
Analytics & industry sales specialists
Customer success and renewal teams
Partner program team
You will report to the Head of Growth Market, Australia and Japan Partner Sales team.
What Makes You a Qualified Candidate
A bachelor's degree (a graduate degree is a plus).
10 years of experience managing complex relationships.
Skills in alliance management within high-tech at strategic, tactical, and operational levels.
People management skills.
Experience in strategy, business planning, and execution with measurable results.
Ability to manage complex relationships across multiple levels and disciplines.
Executive presence and experience working with senior management and C-level executives.
Understanding of business culture in Japan, Australia, and New Zealand.
What You'll Bring
Proven track record in product and analytics solution campaign management or experience with regional Systems Integrators/Consulting, resellers, and distributors.
Ability to identify and manage solution campaigns with partners, including growth within existing Teradata accounts.
Skills in developing presentations and materials, supporting sales calls, and maintaining best practices in campaign management.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong strategic sense, and a deep understanding of Teradata's strategies and business model.
