This is an exciting time at Bishop Auckland College Group, and we are seeking a passionate and skilled Part Time Teacher in a vocational subject (examples but not limited to - IT, Hairdressing / Beauty, Childcare, Catering, Art or Performing Arts), to work with our high needs learners one day a week (Wednesday). Job Reference: RS24/25/46 Location: Bishop Auckland Campus Closing Date: 17 October 2024 Pay: Grade: £25.45 per hour (unqualified), £26.97 per hour (qualified), hourly rate includes annual leave entitlement Hours: Variable Duration: Temporary until June 2025 The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and delivery of effective and efficient teaching within courses in the high needs area. About the role: We are seeking to appoint an individual who is enthusiastic and committed to delivering high quality teaching to our students. You will have strong organizational/administrative skills and the ability to communicate effectively. The successful candidate will be educated to a minimum of level 3 qualification in a relevant subject and have a Certificate of Education (or willing to work towards within two years). It is desirable that the candidate will also hold an IT qualification, Level 2 in Equality & Diversity, Degree, Level 3 Assessors Certificate, Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance/Internal Verification and QTLS.
