About the opportunity | Te whai waahi By joining our nationwide Farm Source store team, you're joining a group of agricultural experts and setting yourself up for an outstanding career. We've got an opening for a part-time opportunity that could bloom into a full-time job! As the newest addition to our local Ashburton store, you'll provide sound farming product advice to our loyal customers and do on-farm deliveries. You'll never be bored in this fast-paced role! As you ease into your role, you will receive unwavering support from our fantastic managers and the entire team at Ashburton. This is a permanent part-time position, with the opportunity to pick up additional hours. You will see yourself working Monday to Friday for 20 hours per week and rostered Saturdays. About you | Moe koe You'll be a self-motivated, adaptable team member with excellent customer service and communication skills. You'll have a high level of physical fitness; we are looking for someone who is hands-on and able to sustain repetitive manual handling such as lifting our 25kg bags of product on a daily basis. Ideally, you'll have some prior customer service/sales experience and a connection to the agricultural industry. That said, we're equally open to those looking to make a move straight off the farm or who are current customer experts keen to learn all about the ag/dairy industry. Sound like you? Other key things we're looking for include:Rural experience would be beneficial, but not essential.Full clean driver's license, must be able to drive a manual.A good level of physical fitness - you'll have no trouble getting your daily steps in!Confident in delivering products to our customers, with experience in handling trailers being a plus.
