Part Time In-House IT Generalist (Intermediate System Administrator)We are seeking a versatile IT Generalist to join our team and provide day-to-day technical support for our staff of nearly 100, primarily based in Whangarei and the wider Te Tai Tokerau Northland region, including Kaipara. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving everyday IT issues, with more complex problems and system monitoring handled by our managed services provider. This is a part-time role of 20 hours a week.Key Responsibilities:Provide on-site and remote IT support to staff.Travel regularly to various office locations to address hardware issues and assist with new office setups.Ensure smooth operation of IT systems, including AAD for roaming profiles and Intune for software deployment.Support staff in using devices primarily for emails and remote access to Health NZ and GP systems for record keeping.Provide timely phone/hands-on ICT support and fault resolution for all Arataki staff.Record/log and update all support requests and solutions.In conjunction with our managed services provider, maintain essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, laptops, desktops, O365, and other 3rd party software.Prepare and setup hardware for new starters, including desk setup.Check, restore, and log all returned hardware in preparation for redeployment.Keep all process documents up to date and document any new processes.Take responsibility for projects and solutions.Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems.Enable faster and smarter business processes (particularly using Intune).Perform O365 administration tasks (ex: user/group, security permissions, windows updates, backups); research event-log warnings and errors.Maintain internal infrastructure requirements, including switches, printers, security updates; support internet, LANs, WANs, etc.Assist our managed services provider with troubleshooting to identify root cause and provide technical support when needed.IT asset management in conjunction with the company accountant.Perform routine and scheduled audits of all systems.The successful applicant will have:Strong IT Knowledge.Knowledge of people who have experienced/experiencing Mental Health & Addiction in their life is desirable.Advanced written and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to convey information and ideas clearly and accurately.Common sense and ability to work as a member of the team and autonomously.
