Customer Services Officer – Twizel, South Canterbury Permanent, Part Time (22.5 hours per week) Mackenzie District Council – our community, our place, our future.

Our Twizel team are looking for a passionate, highly organised, and professional Customer Services super star to join Team Mack and support the Mackenzie District Community.
In the role of Customer Services Officer, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks, including and not limited to, providing a high standard of service to our internal and external customers, data entry, dog registrations, cash receipting, coordinating service requests, maintaining databases and general administration.
This role plays an integral part in the delivery of NZ Post products and services to our Mackenzie community and visitors.
Our Customer Service Officers provide outstanding levels of service by displaying behaviours that lead to positive engagement and more satisfied customers, both internally and externally.

Successful candidates will have: A minimum of two years' experience in a front facing customer services role Proven ability in administrative related activities and tasks Computer competency with all aspects of Microsoft Office Exceptional oral and written communication skills An ability to think on the fly and solve problems Outstanding organisation skills An internal customer mindset Flexibility to work in Twizel and Fairlie office locations if and when required This role is permanent, part time working Monday – Wednesday (8.30 – 5.00pm), including a one-hour lunch break. This role is based in our Twizel office, however there may be times when our Fairlie team needs support, therefore you must be able and willing, to travel to Fairlie and work in this office from time to time.
