New World Pioneer is a large format, locally owned and operated supermarket in Palmerston North. We employ a team of 200+ who pride themselves on delivering exceptional Customer Service. Our Bakery department is very progressive and we encourage and support our team to continually up-skill through in-store training and apprenticeships.
To continue to offer our customers the best, we are looking for a part-time bakery packer.
Tasks for the Bakery Packer role include:
Assisting the Bakery team with packaging, pricing, and presenting our Bakery products
Maintaining cleanliness of the Bakery department
Ensuring compliance with Food and Health and Safety requirements
Merchandising products to ensure they are stocked and attractively displayed
The successful applicant will have:
Organisational and time management skills
Ability to effectively communicate at all levels
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
The ability to work effectively within a team environment
Self-motivation and a positive, can-do attitude
The legal right to work in New Zealand
Availability over the Christmas and New Year period is a must.
The hours for the role are:
Sunday: 4.00am – 12.30pm
Monday: 4.00am – 12.30pm
Tuesday: 5.00am – 1.30pm
No experience needed, as full training will be provided.
