Parlour Manager / Foh Staff

Off the back of winning the Best Gelato in NZ award 2024, we are opening a gelato parlour in Ponsonby and are looking for someone to manage the parlour and some FOH staff!We are looking for people who are friendly, passionate, organised and reliable, having previous FOH experience and experience managing a team is valued but not essential. You will be representing the Little 'Lato brand and we want someone who is excited to help us grow awareness and love of authentic Italian gelato.The Parlour Manager role will oversee all day-to-day activities, ensuring we create an awesome experience for customers. Some activities will include:Managing procurement - ensuring we have adequate stock of product to meet demand.Overseeing the presentation of product - making sure gelato is presented in top-notch condition.Overseeing the quality of product – completing necessary record keeping and checks, working alongside Hannah (Founder) to successfully prepare and complete food safety audits.Overseeing, training and developing the team of gelato scoopers.Providing a JOYFUL experience for our customers and team!What we can offer:Opportunity to work alongside passionate and talented people.Chance to make a real difference to the success of the parlour.Did we mention THE BEST GELATO IN NZ!Details for the FOH role:Full or part-time opportunities.Opportunity for career development.Great role for someone studying and available to work evenings/weekends.No / Limited experience needed; we will provide training.Given we are a small business, we are looking for someone who is willing to get stuck in and help with a range of tasks.
