The Parking Services team actively promotes responsible parking behaviour, delivering a service which meets customer requirements in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring that owners of vehicles comply with all parking regulations and the legal requirements for vehicle licensing, registration and warrants of fitness. The opportunity: We are looking for a new Parking Officer to join our team in this busy and rewarding role. As a Parking Officer, you will be responsible for administering the Land Transport Act and other bylaws designed to ensure the safety of people across the city. Ideally you will have: Experience in customer service Strong communication skills Prior experience using your well-developed problem-solving skills An ability to quickly understand a situation, and to apply protocols and procedures to achieve the best outcomes for the community In addition to the above, this role requires a full driver's licence (having a motorbike licence as well would be advantageous). What we offer: A full induction will be provided to you as well as ongoing training. A competitive salary ($57,824 - $62,666 per annum + allowances) 5 weeks annual leave 5% super (after 6 months of service) Parental leave benefits, including paid partner's leave Working outdoors allowance Be part of the close-knit team and enjoy the variety that comes with this role!
