Park Estate Early Learning is one of Counties Manukau Kindergarten Association's long day services, licenced for 50 tamariki aged from 6 months to 6 years of age and operating from 7:30 am – 5:30 pm.
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, thoughtful heart-centred Kaiako, with experience supporting the learning and development of tamariki aged from 6 months to 6 years but with a particular interest in making a difference to the everyday lives of infants and toddlers.
Park Estate EL is situated in a multicultural community in the grounds of Te Kura Kaupapa Maori o Nga Papaonekura, in the heart of Rosehill, Papakura.

Role requirements: B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current teacher registration/certificationGood understanding of infant and toddler pedagogies and practices which support a sense of well-being and belonging.Knowledge of assessment and planning for extending on children's learning and developmentDemonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regardDemonstrates a strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practicesExcellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with Tamariki, Whanau, teaching team and the wider communityPassion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality education and careIf you have a love for teaching and caring for tamariki in positive, nurturing and fun ways and a desire to create an environment which instils a sense of wonder and creativity, we would like to hear from you.
Applicants require a minimum Level 7 Diploma or Bachelor of Teaching ECE, current first aid certificate and current teacher registration practicing certificate.
