Connecting people and communities | Driving eCommerce | Moving New Zealand Team Global Express NZ delivers freight forwarding, end-to-end transport services, and comprehensive logistics solutions to customers operating across New Zealand from Kaitaia to Invercargill.
Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a full-time parcel sorter to join our AM shift in our Christchurch branch.

Additional key duties include:
Load and unload all freight safely and securelyAchieve branch operational objectives by using On-time to scan freight efficientlyEnsure documentation accompanying freight is completeEnsure all equipment is operated in a safe and proficient mannerAction bay labels, re-stacking of damaged freight, protecting leaking productMaintain good working relationshipsCommunicate effectively within a team environmentTo be successful in this role, you will be physically fit, have excellent team coordination skills, and have some experience working with freight.
Additionally, you will need:
Prior work experience in the freight industryA strong health and safety focusOSH approved forklift certificateF endorsed licence (preferred but not essential)Prior long fork experience (preferred but not essential)An understanding of dangerous goods laws (preferred but not essential)It's never been a more exciting time to join us as we take the next step in our journey.
