Panel Beater

Your main duties include: - 1. Must be able to gain access to specific points by removing upholstery and accessories to remove the damaged panels or parts of the vehicle. 2. To be capable of removing the dents on the panels by using hammer and other related tools precisely. 3. Must be able to use hydraulic/mechanical equipment for straightening and aligning the damaged vehicles or damaged parts of vehicles. 4. Carefully filling the unrepairable dents or depressions with plastic fillers/mixtures followed by grinding and sanding the repaired surfaces. 5. To help the vehicle body builder in constructing and restoring the custom designed vehicles when required. 6. May be required to spray paint the vehicles occasionally. 7. Must be able to fit the repaired and replacement panels on the vehicles as in the original condition and check the mobility of the joints or hinges if required. 8. To carefully refit the body hardware including door locks and trims.   The successful applicant must hold excellent skills for using the desired tools and equipment. Training will be provided to the right candidate. Applicants for this position should be New Zealand Citizen/ Resident or hold a valid NZ work visa.
