Painting Assistant

You will: • Be able to start from 7.00 am and must be able to work on the weekend • Be able to work efficiently and well without direct oversight • Have good arm and hand strength • Have attention to detail • No experience and no qualification is required. Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to): • Cleaning the construction sites for the painting work for structuresandbuildings • Helping painters with their work whenever necessary • Assisting in setting up the job sites and preparing the layouts • Assisting in preparing walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping,usingsand paper, removing old paint, washing walls, etc. • Assisting in mixing paint and other materials to prepare the right colorandapplying paints according to instructions • Loading or unloading or moving materials, tools and equipment & heavyliftingaround the construction site • Following instructions from supervisors • Using equipment, machinery & tools in a responsible & safe manner • Cleaning work area, maintaining work tools and machines daily after theworkis done Benefits • Pay rate start $29.66-$32 per hour based on experience • Guaranteed minimum 30 hours per week or more hours if required • Supportive working environment • Permanent full-time position How to apply • Applicants should have NZ Residency or valid NZ work visa.
