Location: CHRISTCHURCH
Job type: Full-time Permanent
Number of positions for this job: up to 2
Pay rate: from $29.66 to $33 per hour
Days required: 5 days/week
Hours per week: min 30, max 60 hours per week

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Set up scaffolding, ladders, and drop sheets to protect nearby areas from paint splatter.
Prepare surfaces by removing old paint, wallpaper, and debris.
Repair woodwork, fill holes and cracks, and sand surfaces to ensure a smooth finish.
Mix paints, varnishes, and stains to achieve desired colors and consistency.
Apply paint, varnishes, and stains using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Hang wallpaper, align patterns, and trim edges precisely.
Clean and maintain painting tools, equipment, and work areas.
Perform minor repairs, including window frame and glass replacement, as needed.

Job Requirement
l  Prior three-year work experience or substitute with a formal qualification
l  A "can-do" attitude
l  Have an eye on details
l  Self-motivated
l  Clean non-criminal record
