Our company is moving into its busy period; we are looking to fill the painters who love a challenge and are keen to get stuck into working on Residential and Commercial projects in Auckland.
Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 3 years' experience as a building Painter. Task & Responsibilities Skilled to work as a builder painter with residential and commercial buildings. Read blueprints/instructions and examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary. Make on-site preparations, such as covering fixtures and preparing walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping them with sandpaper or removing old paint. Fill cracks and holes with appropriate materials. Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture. Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools. Apply varnish and other finishes. Desirable qualities for these roles include: High standard of personal presentation. Excellent work ethic and ability to work in all weather. Able to work under pressure. Be able to take initiative. A team player works fast and efficiently. Adhere to Health and Safety regulations.
