Painter

We are seeking 2 painters to join our team as soon as possible
Days require: 5 days a week. Including weekend.Hours: minimum 30 hours a week.Rate and salary: $29.66 - $33 per hour.At least 3 years of relevant experience, no qualification required
The job involves significant tasks as below:- Erecting scaffolding and ladders, measuring areas to be covered andplacing drop sheets to protect adjacent areas from paint splattering;- Preparing surfaces by removing old paint and wallpaper, fixing woodwork,filling holes and cracks, and smoothing and sealing surfaces;- Selecting and preparing paints to required colours by mixing portions ofpigment, oil, thinning and drying additives;- Applying paints, varnishes and stains to surfaces using brushes, rollers andsprays;- Experience in hanging wallpaper, matching patterns and trimming edges isa plus;- Lay and repair wall and floor tiles if applicable;- Cleaning equipment and work areas.
