Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, smoothing, and sealing, ensuring a perfect base for painting by removing old paint, repairing woodwork, and filling holes and cracks.
Apply paints, varnishes, and stains to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment, achieving a flawless finish.
Mix and prepare paints to match desired colors, carefully combining pigments, oils, and additives for the perfect consistency.
Safely set up scaffolding and ladders, and use drop sheets to protect adjacent areas from paint splatters.
Hang wallpaper with precision, ensuring patterns align and edges are neatly trimmed.
Maintain and clean all tools and equipment, ensuring a tidy work environment.
Perform minor repairs, such as fixing windows and replacing glass in wooden and metal frames.
Lay and repair wall and floor tiles as needed.
Ensure all painting work is performed to the highest standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
At least three years of experience as a painting trades worker.
In-depth knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials.
Proficient in surface preparation and finishing techniques.
Attention to detail and a strong eye for high-quality work.
Good physical condition and stamina.
Reliable transportation.
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
What We Offer:
Competitive salary - $29.66 to $31.61 Per hour
Working Hours – 30 to 40 Hours per week
