Paint Team Leader - Mitre 10 Mega Hornby

Mitre 10 MEGA Hornby is a dynamic and fast-paced store, with a vision to provide great quality products and the best value and expertise to enable our customers.
Due to internal movements, we are currently seeking a Head of Department for our Paint Department.
This role reports into the Retail Manager and is an integral part of our retail team.
As HOD / Team Leader, you will be responsible for: Maximizing sales and profit through delivering excellent staff leadership Ensuring customers are the number one priority Promoting a team culture that encourages a positive working environment Stock, displays and brand standards Management of the department's team and all employee related functions Contributing to the overall success of the store by actively supporting health & safety and loss prevention initiatives and process We value high performers who can 'walk the talk' and who are naturally inclined to enjoy front facing customer interactions.
We're a pretty easy-going, down to earth bunch but we like to get the job done.

Leadership or supervisory experience in either Retail or Trade Ability to work as part of a team, and provide direction and leadership Strong organisational skills, with the ability to think ahead and offer innovative solutions Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills Flexibility & adaptability Ability to manage a varied and busy workload.
This role is for 42.5 hours per week, worked Tuesday to Saturday on a set rostered basis.
